HOMEMADE BISCUITS

Homemade biscuits are a delicious tradition that cannot be missed for holidays, special occasions or on a Sunday evening at home with loved ones smiley


Necessary products:

225 g soft butter

150-200 g of dried Serena black cherries

200 g of sugar

300 g of flour

40 ml. milk

2 vanillas

1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. walnuts

Method of preparation:

Using a mixer, beat the soft butter with the sugar until a fluffy mixture is obtained. Add the milk and mix again. Mix the salt and vanilla with the flour and add them in several stages. Cut the dried cherries and walnuts into pieces. The resulting dough is formed into two salami-like pieces. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Then they are cut into pieces about 0.5-1 cm and arranged in a tray covered with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until golden. The baking time depends on the size of the biscuit slices. Let them cool down so that they become pleasantly crispy.


Dried cherries are high in antioxidants that slow down the aging process. They reduce the risk of diabetes and insulin syndrome, reduce the level of cholesterol, lower triglycerides (fats in the blood).

Black cherries are useful for protection against cardiovascular diseases and various types of cancer. There are data on the product's ability to reduce nicotine addiction.
